Anything newly added to the store shows up here: hilt models we have just started carrying, new cores and soundboards, parts, and the occasional collectible. It updates as stock arrives rather than on a schedule, so it is worth checking rather than waiting for an announcement.
Products move off this page once they are no longer new. If something you saw here has gone, it has not been discontinued — it has settled into its own category. The full range lives in lightsabers, parts and accessories.
A new hilt is usually one of three things: a character model we have not carried before, a revision of one we already stock, or a design not tied to a character at all. Every hilt is offered across blade formats, so the model and the electronics are separate decisions — pick the silhouette you want first, then the build.
If contact sparring is the plan, cross-check the duelling collection before ordering. For display pieces, collectors editions and signature editions are where the limited runs sit.
Cores land here too, and a core is the part most people upgrade rather than replacing a whole saber. Two things matter, and they are the two most commonly confused:
Blade format is the blade itself. Base Lit lights from inside the hilt and shines up a hollow blade. Neopixel runs a strip of LEDs along the blade's full length, which is what gives you scrolling ignition, flash on clash and film-bright colour.
Soundboard is the electronics inside the hilt. RGBX pairs with Base Lit. Xenopixel and Proffie pair with Neopixel. The two have to match — a neopixel board will not drive a base lit blade, and a base lit board will not light a neopixel one. If you are buying a core to drop into a hilt you already own, that is the compatibility to check before anything else.
Not everything new is a saber. Emitters, grips, pommels, switches and blade plugs pass through this page, as do stands, display cases, coins and pendants. Parts and accessories hold the full range once they move on from here.
Every saber is installed and tested by our technicians in the UK before it ships, whether it launched this week or two years ago — new does not mean untested. Shipping is free to the UK, EU and US on all lightsabers, and free on any other order over £60. Every saber carries a 12-month warranty on its electronics.
One honest caveat: some new arrivals are limited runs, particularly signed and collectors pieces. Where stock is finite the product page says so, and once it has gone we cannot always get more.
Whenever something new arrives, which is irregular rather than weekly. Products are added as stock lands, so there is no fixed release day to wait for.
Anything we have recently started carrying — a hilt model, a core, a part or a collectible. Restocks of products we already sell do not appear here.
Usually not. Once a product is no longer new it moves off this page into its own category, so search the name or browse lightsabers. Limited runs are the exception — those are gone for good once sold.
Not really. New hilts are new designs rather than replacements — an older model is not superseded the way a phone is. Buy the silhouette you actually want.
Base Lit is the better-value route in and the simpler one to live with. Neopixel gives full-length blade lighting, scrolling ignition and flash on clash. Most hilts are offered in both, so it is a budget-and-effects decision rather than a model decision.
