The Crystal Lightsaber – Model Dark Vader is a striking reimagining of the galaxy's most feared design. Finished in deep black, it features an exposed core chamber housing a rotating kyber crystal — the raw energy at the heart of the weapon, on full display before you even ignite it. More lore on the black-bladed cousin: What does a black kyber crystal mean?
Only charge with a 5v 1amp max charger
A display-grade centrepiece built around the rotating exposed crystal, driven by Xenopixel V3 or Proffie for vivid Neopixel illumination and immersive sound. Give it the stage it deserves on a stand or wall mounts.
| Hilt length | 31.5 cm |
| Crystal | Exposed rotating kyber crystal |
| Default blade length | 36" (other options: 32" and 28") |
| Blade diameter | 1" |
| Charging | USB-C; battery easily removed for exterior charging |
| Includes | Charging cable (not a power source), screws and hex key |
Can I duel with it?
No — the exposed core design makes this a display, cosplay and light-handling piece, not a sparring saber. For duelling, see our duelling lightsabers.
What does the rotating crystal do?
It's a live mechanical focal point — the visible kyber crystal turns inside the exposed chamber, so the saber is a centrepiece even before ignition.
Which soundboard should I choose?
Both drive the Neopixel blade; Xenopixel is ready out of the box, Proffie is fully programmable. Our Proffie vs Xenopixel guide compares them.
