The Combat Lightsaber – Model Asajj Ventress carries a fascinating piece of behind-the-scenes lore. The hilt was originally created for Asajj Ventress during development for The Clone Wars, but went unused — so the creators repurposed it as part of Darth Maul's upgraded saberstaff, folding it into canon by sheer visual impact. It was later wielded on-screen in Maul: Shadow Lord.

Was this really designed for Ventress?
Yes — it began as an unused Ventress hilt in Clone Wars development, later repurposed as half of Maul's saberstaff and seen in Maul: Shadow Lord.

Can I duel with it?

Does it come with a sound font?
Yes — it's preloaded with an Asajj Ventress-inspired signature sound font, so it sounds like Ventress straight out of the box.

Can I change the blade colour?
Yes — the colour isn't locked to the character. Pick any blade colour and effects you like (even another character's look): Base Lit sets the colour on the hilt, Xenopixel uses the Xenopixel configurator app, and Proffie is set in config.
