This isn’t just another saber replica — it’s a collector’s dream brought to life by KR Sabers, based on the infamous “V2” prop used during the filming of Return of the Jedi. Meticulously weathered and screen-accurate, this premium replica captures every gritty detail of the saber that saw more action than any other on Luke Skywalker’s belt.

A Replica of the Saber That Defied the Empire

The V2 started its journey as a motorized stunt hilt for Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope. Wires once ran through its base, powering an emitter that originally rotated with the dueling rod. Over time, this same hilt was repurposed, patched up with gaffer tape, given a clamp card, and reassigned to Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.

While never the “hero” prop, this saber became arguably the most visible on screen — appearing in moments where:

• Luke catches his saber aboard Jabba’s skiff
• The Emperor confiscates it
• It rests beside him on the throne
• It’s raised dramatically before he strikes a speeder bike
• Or simply hangs from his belt in countless mid-shots

Its unique configuration — the Graflex clamp with a long lever and missing sidebar — made it instantly recognizable.
