The signature on this helmet is genuine and irreplaceable. Skin oils and fingerprints are among the most common causes of long-term signature degradation — even brief direct contact can begin to break down the ink over time.
Always handle the helmet by its interior or edges. Never touch the signed surface directly. Cotton gloves are strongly recommended for any handling. Once degraded, a signature cannot be restored.
