This is the Model Ani — the hilt Anakin Skywalker carries through Revenge of the Sith, at the height of his power and on the edge of losing everything — with Hayden Christensen's autograph applied directly to the hilt, in blue, across the polished chrome below the emitter.

Not a print, not a plate: the signature is on the saber itself. Each one is signed in person at an official signing, so each signature might differ slightly.

The acrylic display case is optional and can be added to this order on this page. It holds the hilt horizontally on clear risers with the plaque set into the base, so the saber and the signature read as a single piece — and it keeps the autograph safely stored rather than in reach.

Looking after the signature

Do not touch the signed area with bare hands. Skin oils lift autograph ink, and once it has gone it cannot be replaced. Handle the hilt by the pommel and emitter, keep it out of direct sunlight, and if you display it uncased, dust around the signature rather than across it.

Safety & charging

• Only charge with a 5V 1A charger or lower. Higher output risks damaging the battery or the core.
• Never attach a blade to the core while the core is outside a hilt. Doing so can short both the core and the blade, and damage caused this way is not eligible for refund or return.

FAQ

Is the signature genuine?
Yes. Every hilt is signed in person at an official signing, and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity. Signatures are obtained through official events, which is what makes them verifiable rather than merely claimed.

Can I duel with it?
The Model Ani is a duel-capable hilt, so mechanically nothing stops you. We would not. Hilt-to-hilt contact scuffs the chrome, and the signature sits on the chrome. Treat this one as a display piece and buy a standard Model Ani to actually swing.

I want the Empty Hilt now and electronics later — is that possible?
Usually yes, but it means the hilt gets opened and handled, which is exactly what you want to avoid with a signed piece. Email info@padawanoutpost.com before you buy and we will tell you what fitting it later would involve.

Do I need the display case?
No. The plaque, blade and stand come with the saber. The case is worth adding if the saber is going somewhere it will be seen and reached — it is the difference between an autograph that survives a decade and one that gets handled away.

Can I return it?
Signed pieces are final sale. Because each hilt is individually autographed it cannot be resold as new, so this item is non-returnable. If something arrives damaged, contact us straight away.
