Custom Lightsabers

A custom lightsaber is one nobody else owns. Ours are built on the modular VHC (Variable Hilt Component) system: pommel, grip, switch and emitter screw together in any combination, then an electronics core brings the saber to life — so the hilt in your hand is genuinely yours.

How building your own works

Start from a hilt here, or design from scratch with individual parts: pick a pommel, grip, switch section and emitter, then choose your core — RGBx baselit, Xenopixel or Proffie. Our walkthrough on building your own lightsaber covers the whole process.

Custom doesn't mean fragile

VHC hilts are aluminium and duel-capable — cross-shop the duelling collection if sparring is the plan, and swap parts whenever you want a new look.

Custom lightsaber FAQs

Can I change my saber later? Yes — that's the point of VHC: every component unscrews and interchanges with the rest of the parts range.

Do I need tools or wiring skills? No — components screw together and cores drop in; no soldering needed. Our lightsaber instruction guide covers setup and the on-hilt controls.

Can I choose the blade as well? Yes — saber blades come in 16, 28, 32 and 36 inch lengths, in Base Lit and Neopixel versions to match the format you build.

What's the warranty? 12 months, with free UK shipping.
