Qui-Gon Jinn opens the prequel era: he takes Obi-Wan Kenobi as his apprentice, finds Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine and insists the boy be trained against the Council's judgement. He never sees where that leads — he is cut down by Darth Maul at the end of The Phantom Menace, Maul being the first Sith the Jedi had faced in a thousand years.
Where most Jedi hilts hide their internals behind a smooth shroud, Qui-Gon's exposes them: a stepped emitter with visible detail beneath it, a ribbed grip and a heavier, more industrial profile than anything else on screen in Episode I. It reads as older and more improvised, which suits a Jedi who kept his own counsel. Our replica-style builds are machined in aluminium to that outline.
Obi-Wan lost his own lightsaber down the shaft during the duel and finished Maul with his master's blade. He carried Qui-Gon's saber afterwards, and the hilt he eventually built for himself was a close echo of it — which is why the Episode II Kenobi saber looks so much like this one. The Obi-Wan Kenobi collection picks the story up from there.
Blade format is the real choice here. Base Lit pairs with the RGBx soundboard and is the best-value way into duelling; Neopixel pairs with Xenopixel or Proffie for film-bright ignition and flash-on-clash. Colour and sound font are configured on the board, not fixed to the hilt. If you are sparring, cross-check the duelling collection and keep spare blades to hand.
A Jedi Master in The Phantom Menace — Obi-Wan Kenobi's teacher, the Jedi who found Anakin Skywalker, and the first on-screen casualty of the Sith's return.
Green. On our sabers colour and effects are set on the soundboard rather than built into the hilt.
Obi-Wan used it to defeat Darth Maul and carried it afterwards. His own Episode II hilt was built closely on his master's design.
This is a small, focused collection. What is listed on this page is everything we carry for the character.
