Revan Lightsaber

Revan is a games character, not a film one — the masked protagonist of Knights of the Old Republic, set some four thousand years before the Skywalkers. Our Revan hilts follow the V1 and V2 designs in Base Lit and Neopixel builds, machined in aluminium and installed by our technicians in the UK, alongside a 1:1 wearable replica of the mask itself.

Revan comes from the games, not the films

Revan has never appeared in a Star Wars film. The character is the protagonist of BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic (2003) and returned in The Old Republic, set roughly four thousand years earlier than the films — an era with its own Jedi Order, its own wars and no Skywalkers in it. KOTOR sits in the Legends continuity rather than current canon, which changes nothing about why the character endures: the whole story turns on who Revan actually is.

The mask that made the character

Revan's silhouette is the mask and hooded robe, not the weapon — a Mandalorian war mask taken during the Mandalorian Wars and, in the story, almost never removed. It is why Revan is recognisable to people who have never played the game. We carry a 1:1 wearable replica of the helmet alongside the hilts.

What Revan's lightsaber actually was

Two corrections, because both come up constantly. Revan's lightsaber does not split into two — that is a saberstaff trait belonging to other characters, and every Revan hilt here is a single-blade build. And there is no fixed colour: in KOTOR the crystal is chosen by the player, so Revan's blade is whatever you made it. Later appearances leaned violet for the redeemed Jedi and red for Darth Revan, but the game never committed.

Choosing your Revan saber

There are two hilt designs, V1 and V2, plus a collectors edition chassis build. Each comes across blade formats: Base Lit with the RGBx soundboard for the best-value route into duelling, or Neopixel with Xenopixel or Proffie for film-bright ignition and flash-on-clash. If you are sparring, cross-check the duelling collection and keep spare blades to hand.

Revan lightsaber FAQs

Is Revan in the Star Wars films?

No. Revan is a games character — Knights of the Old Republic and The Old Republic — and has never appeared on film.

Is Revan canon?

KOTOR moved to the Legends continuity in 2014, so Revan is Legends rather than current canon.

What colour is Revan's lightsaber?

It was never fixed — KOTOR lets the player choose the crystal. On our sabers colour is set on the soundboard, not the hilt.

Does Revan's lightsaber split into two?

No — a common mix-up with saberstaff wielders. Every hilt in this collection is a single-blade build.

What is the difference between the V1 and V2 hilts?

Two interpretations of the design rather than an upgrade path. Compare the photographs and dimensions on each product page.

What if my lightsaber breaks?
