What the Star Wars Day sale is

May the 4th is the fan-made Star Wars holiday, and it is the one date in the calendar the whole fandom marks together. We run a promotion across the lightsaber range around it, for a short window either side of the day. The exact offers change from year to year, so we confirm what is included in the run-up rather than committing to it here.

What is on this page the rest of the year

The grid is built from our Combat Saber models, so between events it shows that line-up rather than a list of live discounts. Combat Sabers are the everyday duel-ready hilts — thick-walled, with the blade bought to suit. Anything genuinely reduced carries a struck-out was-price on the product itself, so trust the product page over the page title.

When does the sale run?

Around May the 4th, for a short window. We announce the dates and what is included beforehand rather than fixing them here, because they move each year.

Is anything discounted right now?

Only if the product page says so. Out of season this page is a product line-up, not a discount list — a reduced saber shows its old price struck through.

Do sale sabers come with the same warranty?

Yes. Every saber carries a 12-month warranty whatever you paid for it, and after-sales goes to our UK technicians at repairs@padawanoutpost.com. Shipping is free on all lightsabers to the UK, EU and US.
