Is the Beta good for a first lightsaber?
It's one of the most accessible duel-ready hilts in our On a Budget range — and because it's modular, it grows with you instead of being outgrown. New to the hobby? Start with our guide to choosing your first Neopixel lightsaber.
How does the Beta differ from the Delta?
Both are slim VHC duelling lightsabers; the Beta is slightly longer (26 cm vs 24.5 cm) with all four sections removable, and uses a standard coupler to go double-ended (the Delta needs none).
Can I really duel with it?
Yes — built for duelling and spinning, with free UK shipping and a 12-month warranty. For technique and safety, read Mastering the Art of Lightsaber Dueling.

The quality is amazing and the price very good
amazing product, arrived in very good time, very impressed
I never thought being a 27 year old man, I'd be so excited to have a lightsaver. I know nothing about star wars yet this thing is so fun. Worth every penny!
I brought this as a birthday for my Star wars loving boyfriend and he is totally in love with it. The light is incredible and so much brighter and vivid than I expected. The build quality is very high. It's so good I kinda want one for myself now.
Amazing. Bought for my partner as a birthday present and he’s thrilled with it. Assembling and controlling the saber was a bit confusing at first but didn’t take long to work it out. Very pleased with it, super glad we got the neopixel one as it’s really impressive!
Excellent
Safe to say, these lightsabers are something else! ❤️
My first saber. Love it, can wait to add music to it!
Very cool light saber, feels a good weight the light is strong all the way along and it makes noises
Absolutely brilliant. Incredible piece of kit. My 11yr bought this with his life’s savings, it’s not cheap, but it is worth the money. He’s delighted with it.
Very good for its price!!!!
For a first lightsaber, I must say I'm impressed. It's a blast to handle and swing around, the soundboard is easy to customise and generally, the lightsaber looks amazing. The hilt feels good to hold and the blade is pretty sturdy. It's a 10/10 for me.
It's awesome, can you make stuff for Dune Awakening too? I'd buy it!
Brilliant quality, I love being able to change the colour, sound and other settings via the app on my phone.
I ordered my saber right before the holidays wich made me wait longer than needed, but the waiting was worth it a 100%! My phone focused wich made the light seem dimmer, but it is really bright. The saber has every colour you can think off and many fonts. I would definietly buy more from Padawanoutpost
Beautiful saber, easy to understand and pair with the app. A lot heavier than I thought it would be, but overall a good item to swing around!! ♡
This is the first lightsaber I've bought. I specifically wanted one that could be used for dueling, and this has held up well! It's... very cool. The lights and sounds are incredible, and I'm living out my Jedi dreams.
Absolutely stunning! This has been my first lightsaber and it has exceeded all my expectations. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with every detail meticulously designed and executed and the weight and balance are perfect, making it ideal for spinning tricks and adding to the sense of authenticity. The blade is vibrant and brilliantly illuminated, enhancing the overall aesthetic and it’s quality is outstanding. I couldn't be happier with my purchase; it's a true work of art and a must-have for any Star Wars enthusiast. I absolutely love it!
Great fun
My boy loves it! Thank you, may the force be with you!
Arrived as stated, my boy loves it and the features.
Very worth the money, very bright colours, cool sound effects!
Took about 16 days to arrive which was past the 14 day longest expected date and they didn't seem to have the extra part I ordered in their uk stock so they sent it from china which is why the order was late. Also when it arrived it wasn't packaged very well and was sent by fedex instead of dpd who managed my previous order and were better but also had issues. It initially had a problem where only the red and green led's worked but taking the battery out and putting it back in seemed to mostly fix it but it's still not ideal.
Amazing!
Its well made, well done worth the money.
For the price, I could’ve never imagined how much value you get. The sound options, the colour, the design, and the technology involved are all immensely impressive.
I am pleased! My brother loves it!
Fantastic quality hilt that feels amazing to swing about even without the blade. And the neopixel blade is incredible. Amazing smooth swing, amazing sound fonts and quite frankly incredible brightness that just drops me into Star Wars unlike anything I've previously experienced. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5 wars.
Great quality, exactly as said and expected
Bought as a present and the recipient lived it.
First lightsaber purchase and it didn't disappoint. My boys love it and it's a big boy's toy iv always wanted to buy. Looking forward to buying more in the future
The package arrived in an insanely good condition, the product itself is as advertised with a well written manual. The lightsaber itself felt good to spin, had good weight to it etc
It has great balance and verity of settings and customisations Even though i just got a standard light saber and not a character one There are still alot of variations of styles and colours to choose from and the settings on the app are incredible, customisable colours ,load ups and sound effects Allowed me to create my own Jedi persona Very pleased with this defiantly would recommend other star wars needs and geeks
Great adter care support. The light saber is perfect, amazing sou is and incredibly bright light
Loved mine so much I bought one for my son!
10/10 overall!
Really quick from ordering to delivery. Well packaged so no damage. The quality of the hilts is fantastic, with a solid & crafted weight to them. It didn’t take long to understand the functions, although it would be really good if you could leave them ‘locked’ onto one setting…. I may have missed that bit in the instructions though!!! Great service & sabres, I’m sure I’ll be tempted again! I bought from Padawan Outpost as having looked at many sites they had the best reviews and prices compared to other sites and are UK based which is good if any issues (of which I’ve had none). Impressive.
Awesome saber, completely met expectations. Quality material and clear instructions for setup. Thank you!
It is beautiful as and brilliant the only thing I am having problems getting access to USB but. Not affecting my enjoyment I've even took it to church open day for people to take pictures holding it possibly putting your promoting your company people are surprised at how much it can do possibly I will buy another one more expensive next time I'm at a Comic-Con
The hilt is nice, Im charging it now, the booklet that came with the saber says its a xenopixel even though its base lit, either way this saber feels very sturdy.
