Kelleran Beq is a Jedi Master nicknamed the “Sabered Hand” for his skill with a blade. He is best known for one sequence: the flashback in The Mandalorian in which he fights his way out of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during Order 66 with the youngling Grogu and gets him off-world — answering a question the show had left open for three seasons.
Beq is played by Ahmed Best — the same actor who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy. His blade is purple on screen, chosen as a deliberate nod to Mace Windu. On our sabers colour and effects are configured on the soundboard rather than fixed to the hilt, so that purple is a starting point rather than a limit; the character tie is the preloaded sound font.
