Yoda led the Jedi Order for centuries and was widely held to be its finest duellist, which makes the smallness of his weapon the point rather than a footnote. He carried a lightsaber built to his own proportions and fought around it, using acrobatics and Force-assisted speed in place of reach.
At 66cm tall, a standard hilt would have been unusable, so Yoda used a shoto — the short-bladed saber more often seen as an off-hand weapon, as Ahsoka Tano carries hers. Expanded material puts his blade at roughly 45cm. Our Model Yoda keeps the idea honest with an 18cm hilt rather than scaling a full-size saber down on the label.
Yoda’s blade shows green in the films, read as a sign of his bond with the living Force. That is lore, not a specification — blade colour and effects on our sabers are set by you on the soundboard, including through the configurator app on a Xenopixel build. The tie to the character is the preloaded Yoda sound font.
Episode II, Attack of the Clones — drawn at the Battle of Geonosis against Count Dooku. We had known Yoda for three films as a teacher before the prequels finally showed him fight.
The Model Yoda is offered across blade formats: Base Lit for the best-value way in, or Neopixel for film-bright effects and flash-on-clash. It is duel-ready — see the duelling collection — and spare blades are worth keeping to hand.
We meet Yoda in the original trilogy, but he does not draw a saber until the prequels — Episode II, Attack of the Clones, against Count Dooku on Geonosis.
Yes. The compact hilt is the recognisable part of the look, and it is built to the on-screen silhouette.
Do or do not — there is no try. Our combat sabers are built battle-ready; see the duelling collection. We do not advise duelling with collectors edition sabers.
No — it is a shoto, sized to Yoda’s own short blade, with an 18cm hilt. That is deliberate, not a compromise.
Wipe the hilt with a dry, soft cloth and keep it away from moisture. Store the blade where it cannot take a permanent bend, and charge only with the charger supplied.
Yes — stands, wall mounts and cases are in accessories, and spare blades are in the blades collection.
