Collectors Edition Lightsabers

Limited-run and collaboration hilts from makers like KR Sabers, 89 Sabers, One Replicas and Veracity Labs — machined, replica-style pieces bought for the shelf as much as the swing, from £550 up. Most have sold out and stay listed as a record of what came through, so check the product page before planning around one. For something you can buy today, start with the Neopixel range or our combat hilts.

What a Collectors Edition actually is

A small-run hilt from a specialist maker, finished beyond what the main range does: crystal chassis, weathered finishes, hand detailing, sometimes a single unit rather than a run. Prices sit between roughly £550 and £1,200, against £90–£250 for our combat range. You are paying for the machining and the scarcity, not a longer feature list.

The makers behind these hilts

The maker's name is part of what you are buying, so we keep it on the product. KR Sabers account for most of this collection, including the Revan V2.0, Mace and AS3 crystal-chassis builds. 89 Sabers bring the Graflex crystal chassis, three Obi-Wan Kenobi hilts and two Darth Vader builds. One Replicas appear through KR collaborations: Master Qui-Gon Jinn, the KRORSSGUARD and the Eco Hero Luke Skywalker. Veracity Labs made the MoM of All Heroes Gen 2 Luke. There is also a weathered Darth Maul hilt and a Maul and Ventress Clone Wars staff.

Sold out, and why the pages stay up

Most of what you see here is gone. These were finite runs, several years ago, and when a maker stops producing a hilt there is no reorder to place. We leave the listings live on purpose: so a collector can identify a hilt seen elsewhere, and so the maker's name and the spec of what shipped stay on record.

Display first, and what that means for duelling

Buy these expecting a display piece. Some are robustly built, but we do not rate this collection as duel-ready the way we rate the duelling range, and weathering and chassis windows are not improved by contact. Where a build is specified it is a Neopixel blade on a Proffie board, so colour is set on the soundboard, not fixed to the hilt.

Collectors Edition FAQs

Why are so many of these sold out?

They were limited runs, most long finished. We keep the listings live so the hilts stay identifiable. Restocks are not something we can promise.

Who actually makes these sabers?

KR Sabers, 89 Sabers, One Replicas (usually as KR collaborations) and Veracity Labs. Those names stay on the titles deliberately — who built a hilt is much of its worth.

Can I duel with a Collectors Edition hilt?

Treat them as display pieces and ask us about a specific hilt first. If duelling is the point, the duelling range is built for it.

What is a crystal chassis?

An internal frame holding a display crystal where a kyber crystal would sit, visible through a window in the hilt. The KR Revan V2.0, Mace, AS3 and 89 Graflex have one.

Are these official Star Wars lightsabers?

No — replica-style hilts inspired by the films, made by independent saber makers.

What support comes with one?

Sabers are installed and checked by our in-house UK technicians, and every saber carries a 12-month warranty. If something goes wrong later, email repairs@padawanoutpost.com.
