It is easy to talk about “Rey's lightsaber” as a single object, but she is associated with two very different hilts and this collection covers both. The first is the Skywalker Graflex — built by Anakin Skywalker, carried by Luke, lost at Cloud City and eventually recovered by Maz Kanata. Rey is drawn to it on Takodana in The Force Awakens and fights with it through that film and The Last Jedi, where it is torn in two, and later repaired. The second is the hilt Rey builds herself, and it does not appear until the story is almost over.
Not during the battle on Exegol. This is worth stating plainly, because it is widely repeated the other way round — including in the copy that used to sit on this page. At Exegol, Rey fights with the two Skywalker lightsabers, Luke's and Leia's, and it is those two she buries in the sand at the Lars homestead on Tatooine afterwards. Only then, in the closing moments of The Rise of Skywalker, does she ignite the saber she built for herself from her old quarterstaff. That final scene on Tatooine is the whole of its screen time.
The folding, double-bladed hilt belongs to the vision Rey has in the wreckage of the second Death Star — a version of herself that accepted Palpatine's offer. It is a striking design and a genuinely distinct build, but it is a possible future rather than anything Rey ever wields.
Rey's own blade is yellow — not the yellow-green it is often described as — and the choice reads as deliberate: yellow sits outside the blue-and-green Jedi convention, which suits someone who took the Skywalker name rather than inheriting it. The Graflex, by contrast, burns blue on screen. All of that is lore. None of it describes what you are buying. On these sabers the blade colour, ignition style, clash and flicker are set on the soundboard — the Xenopixel configurator app, a Proffie config, or the on-hilt controls of a baselit build — and can be changed as often as you like. The tie to the character is the preloaded sound font, not a fixed blade colour.
Two blade formats, and the choice matters more than anything else on the spec sheet. Base Lit lights the blade from an LED seated in the hilt: lighter in the hand, tougher, cheaper, and paired with the RGBx soundboard. Neopixel runs an LED strip the full length of the blade, giving true scrolling ignition and localised clash flashes, and pairs with either Xenopixel or Proffie — Xenopixel for a configurator app and a large font library out of the box, Proffie for full control if you want to write your own configs. Not every hilt offers every board, so check the options on the product itself. Whichever you pick, the board is installed and tested by our technicians in the UK before it ships.
Worth knowing before you browse: not everything here is a saber. For most of her story, yes — the Graflex hilt she uses in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi is Anakin's, then Luke's. The saber that is properly hers is a separate hilt she builds at the very end of The Rise of Skywalker.
In the final scene of The Rise of Skywalker, on Tatooine, after the battle on Exegol is over. It does not appear during that battle.
Her quarterstaff. She repurposed the staff she had carried since her scavenging days on Jakku, which is why the hilt is longer and rougher-finished than a traditional Jedi build.
