Leia Organa was Force-sensitive from birth, and after the Battle of Endor she trained with Luke. The Rise of Skywalker shows that training in flashback on Ajan Kloss: Leia sparring with her brother, and later completing a lightsaber of her own. She never carries it into a fight in the present-day story. She stops her training, tells Luke she has foreseen her son's death at the end of her path, and hands him the saber to keep.
In that training flashback, and afterwards in Rey's hands. The copy that used to sit on this page said Leia's saber first appears during the final battle against Palpatine and the Sith Eternal. It does not, and Leia is not on Exegol at all. What happens is that Luke, having kept the saber for decades, gives it to Rey on Ahch-To. Rey carries both Skywalker lightsabers into that battle and buries them together on Tatooine afterwards. Leia never wields hers in the present-day narrative — which is, in its way, the most interesting thing about it: a Jedi who finished her weapon and chose not to use it.
Leia's blade is blue on screen, the traditional Jedi colour, which fits someone trained by Luke in the years just after the Empire fell. That is lore. It is not a description of the product. On the saber built here, blade colour, ignition style, clash and flicker are all set on the soundboard — the Xenopixel configurator app, a Proffie config, or on-hilt controls on a baselit build — and can be changed as often as you like. What ties the hilt to Leia is the preloaded sound font, not a fixed colour.
Two blade formats, and the choice matters more than anything else on the spec sheet. Base Lit lights the blade from an LED seated in the hilt: lighter in the hand, tougher, cheaper, and paired with the RGBx soundboard. Neopixel runs an LED strip the full length of the blade, giving true scrolling ignition and localised clash flashes, and pairs with either Xenopixel or Proffie — Xenopixel for a configurator app and a large font library out of the box, Proffie for full control if you want to write your own configs. Not every hilt offers every board, so check the options on the product itself. Whichever you pick, the board is installed and tested by our technicians in the UK before it ships.
