Savage Opress Lightsaber

Savage Opress was a Dathomirian Nightbrother, Darth Maul’s brother, and fought with a double-bladed saberstaff of his own — not a copy of Maul’s. Our replica-style Model Opress is a 65cm double-ender with twin blades and one-button control, in Base Lit or Neopixel format, installed by our UK technicians. More double-bladed lightsabers.

Who was Savage Opress?

Savage Opress was a Dathomirian Nightbrother and the brother of Darth Maul. Mother Talzin’s magick transformed him into a hulking dark-side warrior, Count Dooku trained him and put a double-ended lightsaber in his hands, and he later served as Maul’s right hand in the Shadow Collective. He appears throughout The Clone Wars.

His hilt is not Maul’s

The two get confused constantly. Opress’s saberstaff closely resembles Maul’s original hilt, but it also borrows from Dooku’s design — most visibly the emitter guards at both ends, which Maul’s hilt does not have. If it is the other brother you want, we build that one separately: Darth Maul lightsabers.

The Model Opress

A replica-style tribute, not an official product. A 65cm double-ended staff running twin 1″ blades from one button, in Base Lit (RGBX) or Neopixel (Xenopixel V3 or Proffie V2.2), with USB-C charging. Installed and tested by our UK technicians with a 12-month warranty.

Savage Opress lightsaber FAQ

Is it really double-bladed?

Yes — a true double-ender with a blade at each end, both driven from one button. Two blades are included.

Can I duel with it?

It is built for duelling, though a double-ender takes practice — the swing arc is far larger than a single blade. See our duelling lightsabers.

Can I change the blade colour?

Yes. Colour and effects are configured on the soundboard, not fixed to the hilt. The character tie is the preloaded Opress-inspired sound font.

What support comes with it?

A 12-month warranty and UK in-house after-sales at repairs@padawanoutpost.com. All lightsabers ship free to the UK, EU and US.
